#personal-development
I'm not really one to do any New Year's resolutions because I think time-stamping resolutions with 1/1/20XX is entirely arbitrary, and you're also arbitrarily giving yourself the entire year to accomplish these resolutions.
So let's just label all these as generic resolutions and I'll get started whenever I feel ready. But these are still all things that I intend to accomplish, because I want to still personally commit to these changes :)
## Resolutions
### 🧠 Learning
* Read 50 books per year.
* Be proficient in Japanese. Memorize Katakana and stop putting it off because you're lazy and also start putting more effort into Kanji.
* Start studying Mandarin again
### 🎤 Hobbies
* Make a lot of process with singing lessons!
* Stay steady with your improv classes!
* Get into pole? I've been wanting to!
* Put more content on the internet, even if nobody will read it.
* Foster a kitten!
### 🏃♀️ Fitness
* Start working out at gyms again! I've been lazy after the move but I need to keep up with my health.
* Strive for 10K steps a day at the bare minimum. Do 15K on the weekends.
* Get back into Muay Thai and kickboxing
### 🔮 Experiences
* Go to 4 places I've never been to per year
* Go stargazing again in the summers
* Finally use your Chase points to spoil yourself on vacation somewhere
### 💖 Relationships
* Host more get-togethers!
* Find more communities
* Tell people you love them constantly and always keep in touch
### ✨ Personal
* Assert personal boundaries more
* Be more confident and stop slinking to the background so much
* Develop a sense of skepticism, because you trust people too easily
